   Abstract

The genus Hexapanopeus Rathbun, 1898 is contains eight species, of which three are found in the Brazilian coast. The larval development of two of these species has already been studied in the laboratory. This paper describes in detail the morphology of the complete larval stages of H. caribbaeus reared under laboratory conditions and compares it with larvae of the other species of the same genus.
