   Abstract

We describe the first stage phyllosoma (‘phyllamphion’) larvae of two species taken from the plankton off New Caledonia and which we refer to Palinurellus wieneckii (de Man, 1881) and Puerulus aff. angulatus. (Bate, 1888).
