Sperm emission in the chaetognath Sagitta crassa

Received on June 24, 1986; accepted on February 2, 1987 Sagitta crassa which had just extruded a sperm ball, together with a tube-like secretion, was obtained from Tokyo Bay for the first time. The question of spermatophores in chaetognaths is discussed.
