Does Eurytemora affinis (Copepoda) control the population growth of Keratella cochlearis (Rotifera) in the brackish water Darß–Zingst Lagoon (southern Baltic Sea)?

  Abstract

Laboratory experiments and long-term zooplankton monitoring data suggest a possible suppression of the population growth of the rotifer Keratella cochlearis f. tecta by predation by the copepod Eurytemora affinis.
