Light utilization efficiency of size-fractionated phytoplankton in the subarctic Pacific, spring and summer 1999: high efficiency of large-sized diatom

Higher light utilization efficiency of the >10 µm fraction was observed in the western subarctic Pacific in spring. The higher efficiency was possibly due to large-sized diatoms.
