Theodore Green and Teresa Diez

Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, 1269D Engineering Hall, 1415 Johnson Drive, University of Wisconsin Madison, WI 53708, USA

Received on January 23, 1995; accepted on April 27, 1995 The slightly increased density of Chlorella over that of pure water is shown to be capable of driving convective water motions which lead to very efficient vertical transport.
