Fine growth rings found in statolith of a cubomedusa Carybdea rastoni

Received on November 5, 1994; accepted on February 6, 1995 This is the first report in Cnidaria on fine rings found in statoliths of Carybdea rastoni. The possibility that they are daily growth increments is discussed from the viewpoint of life history.
