Evidence of selective feeding on larvaceans by the pelagic copepod Candacia bipinnata (Calanoida: Candaciidae)

Received on November 2, 1987; accepted on February 10, 1989 Gut contents of Candacia bipinnata collected from the Inland Sea of Japan and the neighbouring sea revealed that these pelagic calanoid copepods feed selectively on larvaceans.
